Schlossberg Design Atelier

Our centrepiece, the in-house studio in Turbenthal, is the hallmark of Schlossberg. With each collection, new designs are lovingly created by hand in a variety of styles and painting techniques. Our five-strong Design & Product team draws inspiration from the current fashion scene, interior design trends, art, culture, social issues and professional trend scouts - and always with a single thought in mind: we turn an everyday moment into a unique, personalised feel-good moment.

Made in Switzerland

The sample and bespoke items for our boutiques, as well as for our customers, are produced in line with the principle of ‘as much Switzerland as makes sense’: the focus is on short supply chains, transparent sourcing and resource-efficient production. By manufacturing locally in our in-house atelier, we reduce transport emissions, support regional economic growth and benefit from high environmental and social standards. At the same time, small, demand-driven batches enable us to use materials efficiently, minimise overproduction and ensure individual, long-lasting quality – precisely where sustainability and ‘Made in Switzerland’ have the greatest combined impact.

From the sewn-in label to the fabric and packaging, Schlossberg sources everything from Swiss family-run businesses or European partners. This ensures that production expertise and jobs are retained in Switzerland or neighbouring countries, whilst fostering a network of small and medium-sized family-run businesses.

Brilliant colour precision

Schlossberg stands for attention to detail and carefully selected colours, from the initial idea to the finished product. This is precisely why we design every production step with care: digital textile printing offers an almost infinite range of colours, maximum precision and therefore maximum creative freedom for our designers. On the other hand, this requires a longer production time, extra-wide and therefore highly complex, high-maintenance special printers and more expensive colours, but this is the only way we can guarantee you bed linen that meets your and our highest design standards.

The Team

Our Design and Product Management team consists of five creative minds, some of whom work more with colours, others more with numbers, but all of whom work with our beautiful products. Read here what drives them to work at Schlossberg:
«There is a deep passion, creativity and a keen eye for detail in every Schlossberg product we design. With the highest standards of quality and timeless aesthetics, we create the perfect feel-good moment for our customers. Every product undergoes an intensive creative process - from the initial idea to the finished product, accompanied by our expertise. As Schlossberg's biggest fans ourselves, our passion can be felt in every facet of the Schlossberg world.»
