Thanks to its slightly cooling properties and low weight, linen bedding (LEVIN) is ideal for light, fresh summer bedding. Thanks to its many features, linen is a timeless classic that is naturally anti-static and offers good durability, yet is soft and pleasant on the skin.
As a result of its low elasticity, the bedding creases easily and shows all the characteristic yarn irregularities such as thicker strands, tiny knots and bast fibers. The more frequently linen is washed, the softer and smoother it becomes. Compared to cotton, linen does not pill or bobble.
The right laundry care:
Linen bedding should be washed at 60 °C with color detergents or a products for delicates that do not contain optical brighteners. Turn the bedding inside out and close any zippers. Place your laundry in the drum. Do not overload the washing machine because this puts undue stress on the fabric.
You can tumble-dry your linen bedding but treat it like delicates and do not over-dry. It is best to iron your bedding when it is still slightly damp. Do not always fold linen at the same place or the fibers will break.
