Care instructions

Please refer to the sewn-in care labels, since well cared-for bed linen and towels remain beautiful and last longer.

Colorful and printed bedding
Colorful and printed bedding should be washed at 60 °C using only color detergents or products for delicates that do not contain optical brighteners.

White bedding
White bedding should always be washed separately at 60 °C. It can be washed using heavy-duty detergents without a problem.

Terry toweling
Terry toweling should be washed at 60 °C using detergents for colored items or products for delicates that do not contain optical brighteners.

Loading the washing machine
Turn the bedding inside out and close any zippers. Place your laundry in the drum. Do not overload the washing machine because this puts undue stress on the fabric.

Tumble dry
You can tumble dry your bedding and terry toweling but treat it as you would delicate fabrics and do not overdry.

Iron
Jersey bedding from Schlossberg does not need to be ironed. Satin Noblesse and other Schlossberg materials are easy to iron. This is made even easier if they are ironed whilst slightly damp. Do not iron terry toweling.

Important:
Shrinkage: Naturally processed cotton shrinks by approx. 4–6% depending on the drying method. The bed covers are nevertheless ideal for down duvets. When using wool, camel hair, silk or similar covers, the cover may be rather a close fit after washing, depending on the type of cover. We recommend, where appropriate, ordering the “washed size” custom-made for an additional charge.

Instructions Line

Thanks to its slightly cooling properties and low weight, Lin Supreme is ideal for light, fresh summer bedding. Thanks to its many features, linen is a timeless classic that is naturally anti-static and offers good durability, yet is soft and pleasant on the skin.

As a result of its low elasticity, Lin Supreme bedding creases easily and shows all the characteristic yarn irregularities such as thicker strands, tiny knots and bast fibers. The more frequently linen is washed, the softer and smoother it becomes. Compared to cotton, linen does not pill or bobble.

The right laundry care:
Linen bedding should be washed at 60 °C with color detergents or a products for delicates that do not contain optical brighteners. Turn the bedding inside out and close any zippers. Place your laundry in the drum. Do not overload the washing machine because this puts undue stress on the fabric.

You can tumble-dry your linen bedding but treat it like delicates and do not over-dry. It is best to iron your bedding when it is still slightly damp. Do not always fold linen at the same place or the fibers will break.
